Hi Brian, I came across this website and thought I'd leave a message; We used to follow Bilbo Baggins when they came up north to Aberdeen; Have fond memories of 2 weeks spent at Silverknowes caravan park when Kathleen, Susan, Pauline and I made a pilgrimage to Edinburgh to see you play; How is your brother Stuart? I now have 4 daughters who are also into music and one of them is managing a local band! Hi,first of all i must say its a great site i have been trying to find out more about Brian and his music for a few years now and this site is the business;I first heard him in 1990 And played Reputation to death(on tape);My Two kids were brought up on ,Come Back Home,See The Boy,My Arms Are Strong, etc all great songs ,Great record;I have just bought Reputation and Brothers on CD from Amazon,in fact as i write this Ghandi( we will write)is blasting on the Hi Fi Coincidence!;I wonder if he has any plans to tour, a gig up here in the North of England would be great; I will just have to keep visting this site for updates;As someone in another message touched on " He could have been a contender,He should have been a Champ , Keep on Rockin Bri; Steve 26 November 2004 - Sunderland

I'm glad to see that Brian is doing really well and still into his music; I was a friend of Colin Chisholm at the time they recorded 'Chisholm and Spence' and remember a promotion video with Brian playing a guitar and Colin singing when in a prison cell !! I think the track was 'The last Letter'; It was the first time I had ever seen a video recorder and they hired it from a shop in Shandon in Edinburgh to view the video in Brian's house in Clermison !!
